Wouldn't mind it, seems like a lot of AZ members. Not to far from NM.

Where are you at in Southern Illinois? I'm in Belleville area...Sounds like a chapter to me Sounds good to me, How would you go about organizing a club when we are all over the map? Would you have one club and different Chapters of that club? I have noticed several from Illinois on here, maybe we could find a central location for all of us! Just kicking around some ideas! Besides how often do you see a 60-66 model truck running up and down the road, (not many around here anyway) much less a parking lot full.

that would be great! ;D especially if there were chapters for the diff locations since I am in Montana. With regional meets perhaps vendors such as Classic Truck Parts of America, American Classic Truck Parts, Impala Bobs, ETC would attend or give group discounts to such a group. especially due to the ability to advertise and bee seen with todays market..... Just a thought

This would great if there was a club for 60-66 Classic Trucks. I'd join in a second. Just let me know when and what I need to do. I just bought a 65 C-10 short/wide 2 wheel drive. I need a lot of help with it and I've been searching for a site where I can go for help. It's in the preparation stage right now. First I got it safe for the road and all things working. I've bought all the manuals to help. It currently a 305 auto. Not sure what it was originally. It's exciting to know I have a place to come for help. Thanks in advance

Wow.... Based on the feedback from this poll, it looks like a club is in order. From what I can tell, there really isn't much to starting a club. We could basically say IF YOU'RE A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM, YOU'RE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB. I'd really rather not deal with dues or anything like that, at least at first. What do y'all think? I'll take the feedback I get and formulate a plan.

Dave ... what if we were to offer small window stickers one color white denoting club to place in rear windows....at a cost to members.... 60 to 66 chevy trucks. We started a small cruise night here in Northern Calif, Florin fat Fenders and had window stickers made , anybody that attended became a member, it went over well that was in `92, still growing family cruise night....!

It may be a good idea if it didn't take away the cohesiveness of the group, i.e. some members may be more special if they are in the club, a kind of elitist situation.
