Hello,
I have a Canadian 1965 GMC shortbox fleetside with a 250 CID 6 and a 4-speed originally painted Woodland Green, but repainted white at some point. I'm located just north of Toronto, or about an hour away (Oshawa) from where my truck was built.
My dad bought the truck in the late 1970's from an Esso station in Saskatchewan (before we moved to Ontario) and drove it until the early 1990's when he gave the truck to me. It was pretty rusty so I took it apart and have slowly been restoring it for the past 15 years. The truck was originally a Sask Power work truck. I'll try post a pic soon.
I plan to resto mod the truck but keep the original paint colour, including the white bumper and grille. So it will keep the work truck look but lowered on larger wheels. I'm planning on keeping the original 6 cylinder but bored .60 over with some head work, a cam, header and weber carb set-up. I plan to swap the 4-speed to a 5-speed though for better highway cruising.
The truck is a long way from being done but I look forward to becoming a part of the forum.

anyone know if its possible to turn my c10 into 4x4 ?
