Hi Guys, I'm getting ready to start a major repair, On the left side of my truck the lower sections of the rockers, front pillar, kick panel, floorboard, and bits of the lower firewall, also both bottom braces. needs replacing. My plan is to leave the cab on for support and to keep it from shifting and bending and keep it tied to the frame. Or do I take it off and have all the room I want to repair this and then some. I will completely take it down to a shell. Thanks Jeff in Indy

Jeff,
I have to make similiar repairs as well. I plan to leave the cab on the frame, weld a piece of stock length wise in the door jamb to keep it true (both sides) and then weld a piece of stock on the inside of the truck from the left front piller to the right front pillat (under the dash)
I believe, that will keep the door opening true when i cut out the floor boards, and the old rockers.
At any rate, that's my plan.
