Hey Guys,
Im using a 63 frame for a rat rod were building,, whats the best way to drop the rear like on the ground? Using trailing arms.

If you want it crazy low like dragging the ground stuff you pretty much have to C-Notch the frame rails. Then most people put an air bag system on them so they can lift them back up to a managable ride height. If you just want to lower it say 5-6 inches just get drop springs. Theres a couple of things that go along with doing it either way like a longer or adjustable pan hard bar and shock relocating. The big thing with the C- Notch besides just cutting the frame is you have to raise the level of the bed floor or cut a hole in it so it clears the frame. I guess you can do the C-Notch with out bags but you had better be careful when driving it. Hope this helps
