hi hows it going, im mike i found this site by searching for forums for 60-66 chevy trucks. i started looking around and liked what i saw so i registered. i currently own a 64 lwb and my pride and joy a 63 4x4 short fleetside. it took me ten years to talk the previous owner into selling it to me but persistence pays off. as soon as i get my shop built i will begin the resto process my plans for it is to paint it light blue and have it sitting on 33's. the reason im not going any higher with it is cause it will not be taken offroad just driven on the street.
i do have other vehicles too, such as 4 vw bugs, a 60 fiat multipla, 2 67 simca 1000's, 2 51 ford coupes, a 67 3 door suburban 4x4, a 85 d-50, a 03 dodge ram quad cab, and my wifes car a 03 eclipse.
thanks for putting together a great forum

Welcome to the forum. A '63 4X4 short fleet you say!, Mines a '64 4X4 short fleet on 31/10.5/15's. Mine is alergic to gravel also.

Welcome from the northwest. Yep I'm stuck with gravel to the highway as well. Part of why I switched from shiny to Blitz Black. I'd rather drive my truck than polish it.

Nice truck is it sitting on the original drivetrain?

yes it is on the original drivetrain. it does have blocks in the rear and longer shackles up front, but i will probably get new springs to get rid of the blocks.
