I shorted my frame of the 65 C-20 long bed, and welded on the back half of a frame from a 73 C-10. Then I swapped the front suspension from the C-20 with a 5 lug C-10. Then I installed the 73 short bed step side on it. I will be using as many parts from the 73 C-10 as I can. I bought the 73 as a parts truck. It had a wrecked front sheet metal above the bumper that pushed the front of the frame over, but didn't damage the suspension. The 73 has a 350/700r4 and a 12 bolt posi. The bonus is it had SS Cragers on it with only one wheel damaged. I can't wait to get it running again.

Excellent! I always thought the 73 series bed looked more natural on the 60-66 than the 55 style. Looks like you've already completed a lot of work. Welcome.
