I am so glad I was able to find this group. I have read through many of the forums and have learned some more about the 1960-1966 Chevrolet C series. I have a 1966 C-10 LWB with the 283 V-8 and 3+granny gear on the floor. Or at least that part of the floor is there. I hope to get this running well enough to replace the 1988 Dodge Dakota I have. It is nearing 305,000 miles and the auto tranny is acting up. I make it a tradition to squeeze every little bit of usefulness out of anything I own.
Anyway, the dark yellow rusty truck at the side of my home is mine, and my wife doesn't want to drive it because she can see the road through the floorboards, then she won't drive it. I will. I've had other trucks that way before.
Thanks for being here in cyberspace. John

John,
I've got the same issue with my 64 Stepside. Don't need air conditioning, there's enough of a breeze coming-up through the floor.
I trying to figure-out how to fix it. I thought about replacing floor pans but I'm not much of a welder. Checked-out Fusor adhesive to install them and that's a possibility. Also looking at possibly using Por and filling in the holes.
Do you have a plan yet?
Randy
