That is a gorgeous truck. That's one of the color schemes I'm toying with.

I noticed this truck had been sitting under a carport for a couple of months in the small Texas town where I live, and I left a note on the windshield that I wanted to buy it. I had to put in a new radiator and a new head on it. The seats had been damaged from using unleaded gas by the new owner, so I had steel seats put in the new head. The paint was faded and powdery, so I used the Maguire's three step method (cleaner, polish, and wax) and was amazed that it revived the shine as well as it did. The letters on the tailgate had been painted black, so I matched the paint up at Nappa Auto Parts, painted over the old letters, and bought a white letter kit and put new letters on. I also used a kit to put the small black letters on the front grill. I have enjoyed looking at the other members' truck on the site, also. These old classic trucks really get in your blood.

goldandwhite,
You might try some "Aero Kroil" to break those rusted bolts loose. It works very well.
