I've looked everywhere for a chrome grille for my 63 but have been unsucessful so far. Anyone know where I can find one?

You could get a nice painted one, take all the paint off, and have it chromed

Where would I get a painted one then? LMC doesn't have one for that model year.

The factory chrome grille for the '60-'66 Chevy trucks were actually anodized aluminum. The 4-5-6 Chevy truck grilles are being reproduced in chrome and painted, but not anodized aluminum. I am not aware of anyone reproducing the '60-'63 in painted, chrome or anodized aluminum. I see them from time-to-time on www.craigslist.com and eBay, for a decent price. With the cost of chroming, I think you would be better off finding a good, used factory anodized aluminum grille. Good luck with your search and let us know how you make out.
