I just put a T-5 in my truck so I have a boat anchor that is taking up space. All you need to do is pick it up or arrange for someone else to pick it up. Remember its cast iron so it's a brute. And it can be yours for the low low price of free. Oh yeah, its a good transmission, you might want to go through it but it was just fine for me, I just need some overdrive for those 4.11's. It's in St. Marys Ga, which is about 45 minutes north of Jacksonville Fl.

You'll get more exposure if you post a question in the Tech Q&A section.

I hope this link works. I did an entire tech article with pictures on the HAMB. Any questions you have should be answered if not by me then by someone else's comments. The guy that goes by flaternie is a real T-5 guru. I hope this helps, now someone come get this dang boat anchor out of my yard. www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280529

Zor: I am curious if you still have this transmission? I don't need the whole thing, but I do need the front bearing retainer. Before you get to the point of scrapping, please let me know if I can buy the retainer off of it. I cracked mine . You can reach me at sclor@bellsouth.net Regards, Steve New Orleans

Is that granny tranny still available, Zor? Curious for the time being, that's all.
