Would a 67-72 front end with disc brakes just bolt on to my 65?

Yes it will, you have to drill a couple holes but thats it. Actually a front end all the way up to 86 or 87 will bolt up in the same way. Besides the disc brakes, the geometry of the front end is better and will give you a better ride and handling.

Yeah thats what I have been told numerous times. I think that some of the holes line up and some don't cant recall which ones.

I know this is an old post but I've noticed a common theme on pretty much all the disc swap post on this sight and that is the discussion of swapping the cross member, A-arms and everything from a 70 disc brake equip truck on to 60's 1/2 ton. Seems a bit much. I have a 65 that I swapped disc on it by changing the ball joints on the A-arms and bolted on the spindles, brakes and linkage including idler from a 76 C10. All I had to do was drill new holes for the idler arm. Bingo it was done. I would think you could do the same thing on the early 60's torson bar equip trucks as well...

Just a note here, all cross members will bolt up but 73 on up is 3" wider total, just so you're aware. I Just put mine on a 72 chassis simple deal!...
