Welcome aboard! Looks like a fun project. Are you going to try to pick up a '63 grille to replace that '62 grille? If so, make sure you post an ad in the "Want To Buy" section. Keep us updated on the progress.

Hey thanks for the reply. That is cool that u know that my grill is from a 62 an not a 63 i will have to get some new pictures i have it broken down to a rolling frame and cab sitting on it. But what is very interseting i have 2 VIN numbers the factory chevy VIN is for a 63 and then i have a reasigned Texas VIN for a 64. So i will post some more pictures of it so u can tell me what u think. Thanks again Mike

Pate Swap is on May 1, at TMS. Plenty of 60-66 treasures there, and most big venders too.

you and I are in the same boat with grilles. I have a 62 grille on my 63 also. I really like the 64-66 grilles the best. As far as I know, nobody makes an aftermarket 62 grille, so it may be worth a few bucks if you want to sell it. I've thought about selling mine and getting a 64-66, but the headlight buckets don't interchange and they're pretty pricey.
