Has anyone seen or had any luck installing bucket seats with a center console? If so what was used?

Was your gas tank originally in the cab? What tank did you use when you moved it? I like that set up with the console. What are you finishing the console with fiber glass or upolstered?

The gas tank was in the cab, but I removed it. I got the measurements between the frame rails in the rear where the spare tire goes, and mounted one there. A friend of mine welded up the aluminum tank. You can see some pics at: picasaweb.google.com/Harry.Nunn/65ChevyPU_GasTank#. The center console will be upholstered except for some of the top portion which will be painted to match the interior. Harry

rilos61, I talked to my friend about building a gas tank, and he said the he would, but the cost of material has gone up quite a bit in the past 18 months, and the price of a gas tank from CPP would probably be less expensive, (http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1960_1972_Chevy_Truck/6372AGTBS.htm)

I found a cheap ($75) front sear for a 9?-02 Dodge Ram 2500 that has a nice big foldable console. When down you've got buckets, but when up you have one middle seat. Only needs some minor bracket adaptation on the middle supports to fit!

How did you get the brackets to work on the brackets from the dodge seat. I have acces to a set of seats out of a 96 dodge ram if you could show me some pics that would be great
