Pedal is very soft. Resevoir is empty. I refilled. is their any help out there? Do I bleed the system? what brakefluid should I use? any steps and tips would be appreciated. Thanks Runamuck

More the likely its the slave cylinder, when they start acting stupid you lose brake fluid. No need to bleed, generally most cars use DOT-3 brake fluid. Sometimes you can fill them up and they will work fine for a good while and sometimes they will leak constantly. Fill up keep an eye on it, keep the brake fluid with you that way if it starts losing fluid bad you can fill it up and still drive it some where. Ive never replaced a slave cylinder so I, dont know what to tell you other then that.

How do I know so much about these trucks??
