Hey guys. this site is pretty cool. I would have never known the following these trucks had. I always thought the '60-'66 Chevy's weren't very appreciated. I have had my '66 since '96 and am finally getting to the tear down and building the vision of it. It's a '66 C-10 long bed that lived life as my "learning curve" through the high school years. I plan on keeping it a long bed and it will have a 350 w/ tri-power, crane H278 cam, roller tip rockers on high flow aluminum heads and built th350 to back it. The running gear is going to be Tubular upper arms with stock lowers up front, disc brakes on all four corners. Rear end is the factory with an Eaton posi added a few years ago. body and interior are going to be done with a late sixties theme to it. except were it comes to a safety issue or me just wanting that creature comfort. Anyway this forum is cool and everyone is eager to help out were they can. I will get some more pics later. just started pulling body apart last weekend
