This is my 1966 Suburban project. It will be getting a 350 / 700R4, a new interior, lowered, and I am painting it flat black with a cream roof, pinstripe it to death, and tint the windows. I have updated the front end to disc brakes, and it will have power steering, A/C and who knows what else. The interior will be updated to a more modern look. Using seats out of a Pontiac Transport, the ones that fold up and can be quickly removed and taken out. This will allow me to haul other things besides people.

I LOVE those suburbans. I think it would be fun because you've got so much room in those things to work with. Keep us updated!

I had some time so I am posting more pics of the progress and what nots. Since these pics were taken, I have put a front cross member in from a 1979 Burb, so now I have power steering and front disc brakes. I have also changed out the steering column for one that has the automatic trans locator on the column, because I am putting in a 700R4 trans.
