whats the easyest way to put them back on...some one took them off of rsome reason and i cant seem to get the back on

Loosen the hinge bolts slightly, remove the front (bumper end) bolt ,slip on the spring, pull down on the entire spring and align the front hole. insert bolt.

A sure-fire what to install hood springs onto your hood hinges is to use a set of Vise-Grips. I like the type with the deep throat for more clearance. Tighten the Vise-Grips and clamp them closed. Insert the end of the hood hinge spring into the Vise-Grip throat and with the other end on the hood hinge, pull the spring into the stretched position and allow the end of the spring to be inserted into the hood hinge landing bracket slot. With the spring in place, release the Vise-Grips and you have successfully and safely installed a hood spring.
