A few of our number have expressed an interest in being able to post images on the forum. I've searched high and low for a suitable solution and couldn't find anything that didn't cost an arm and a leg. That being said, I recommend the following to anyone who wished to share photos.
First, sign up for an online photo album at an image hosting site such as Photobucket, Picasa (by Google), Flickr (by Yahoo), or Shutterfly. These sites, and others, will allow you to upload your photos to an online album. Personally, I recommend Photobucket. It provides you will all the appropriate source code needed to share several different ways. If you need any help setting up and/or using your online photo album, let me know.
Second, find out what the web address of your album is. If you use Photobucket, it will look something like this:
I suggest entering this into the field labeled "Home Page" in your forum profile. This will allow other members of the forum to view your album.
Using Photobucket, you can also display individual photos in your posts. To do so, look for the text box below the image you want to display labeled 'IMG Code'. It will look something like this:
Click anywhere in that textbox. A little yellow box will pop up for a couple seconds that says "Copied". You can now place it in your post. The result should be something like this:
It's very simple. Please resize your images to fit in your post. Again, if you need help, let me know.
