www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGZvQoPxhNsMy 66 has the complete front end, crossmember and all from a 73 even the steering box. Is there any quick ratio power steering boxes like the ones from the mid size chevys that will work for my application. These boxes are called Saginaw 800 and the ration is 12:1. I know that several of the companies have these as after market items, I was just wondering if any stock box would work. Thanks BB

Interesting,
I will be checking on this. We have a salvage yard here with plenty of cars. Do you know which year models they refer to?

One problem I see so far is the Saginaw 800 mounts on the inside of the frame and the trucks are outside.

You might check Classic performance. Where our frames dip in you can get a power steering bracket to straighten out that dip in the frame which has mounts for your gear box, also they have the quick ratio power steering box 3 to 3.5 Turns Lock to Lock 13/16"-36 Spline Shaft, stock is 4 to 4.5. This setup is about $370.00 + S&H... www.classicperform.com

Like the show on TV "Truckin" there are plenty of high dollar products. I guess I cheap. I always try to fabricate a low cost solution.
