I got the brake/turn/tail lights installed in the roll pan. They are for a '41 - '48 Chevrolet sedan, but these are LED. The LED backup lights are mounted in a cover plate for the 20 gallon gas tank that fits inside the frame rails. The tailgate has the latch inside, (from MAR-K). The polished stainless exhaust tips are from Magnaflow. I've still got a long way to go, but this is progress.

Looks good,
Did you shorten the back of the truck? Can you post a few more pic's from different angles?

No, I didn't shorten the back-end. The bed is entirely new, (floor/sides/fenders/front/tailgate). I have several more photos at: picasaweb.google.com/Harry.Nunn (look for the albums that feature a truck photo).

Bob, the roll pan was purchased by the previous owner, and I bought the tailgate from MAR-K as is. I bought this project from a guy about 4 1/2 years ago. He had bought most of the stuff and I took everything apart and started cleaning from the chassis up. I've still got the dash panel insert to fabricate as well as the center console; then, it will be about time to paint it. I'm hoping to get it finished late this year, (as budget allows).

WHERE DID YOU GET THE FUEL TANK?

supadave, A friend of mine, (a very good welder/fabricator/hotroder), built the tank for me. I got the basic measurements from a commercially available tank. We had to remove the cross member for the spare tire, and fabricate a new one that fits at the back end of the frame rails.

Pretty cool work, I like seeing random parts from other cars being used in new ways. Its crazy how the angle of the picture of your bed makes it look bobbed off.
