Hi Guys, I'm getting ready to try and sell my son's 1963 Chevy truck. He was in the process of working on it but he's gone now. (not dead. just gone) I have a problem because I'm not sure what to ask for it. I know the engine runs good (a 292 straight 6 from 1976) not mobile at the moment though, somethings up with the clutch. It's a sweet old truck that kind of tugs at your heart and softly whispers "help me" in your ear. It would surely be a great project truck for someone. This truck doesn't have the original bed and I was wondering if that hurts it. If any of you kind folks could take a look at my photo bucket link below and give me an idea of what you would ask for it if it were yours, I would sincerely appreciate it. I'm not even sure how to classify it - 1/2 ton 3/4 ton etc - or what would be the best venue to use selling the old girl for that matter. Even if no-one responds, I know I'll have a great time watching you guys talk shop here. Thanks for having me! ~Joe 1963 Chevy Truck Photo Link: s1303.beta.photobucket.com/user/zellasbar/media/1963%20Chevy%20Truck/IMG_9536_zpsbb26873c.jpg.html

you have a 3/4 ton and its worth is what someone is willing to pay for it in my opinion 500 -800 dollars

Thanks for the reply Joe. I just see these rusted out trucks in a field somewhere with no tires bringing 1000 or more. It gets a bit confusing. But you're right, no matter what, the item is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
