Here’s an update on a few changes made since my last input in April 2011: A 1971 C10 cable throttle was installed, eliminating the original mechanical design. Had I known how smooth the cable design worked I would have changed it long ago: I also installed one of the 1/8” thick MIP (Molded Industrial Polyvinyl) floor mats. It was extremely difficult to fit, but turned out rather nice: A floating 1955 Buick grille bar was added eliminating the GMC grille letters. The fog lights were also removed to better show off the new grille: Next came fully restored and polished 1960-61 wide windshield trim, with polished stainless wiper arms and blades. And most recently the Moon Equipped decals were eliminated and replaced with 67 Chevelle 327/crossed flag emblems on the front fenders:
