Hey Guys,
I have a 65 c10 stepside with 6 cly. and I want to lower it... I don't know what all my options are, but what I can think of is , cut or torch the springs, dropped spindles, or air bag suspension. I don't know how to do any of these so I probably need some kind of kit with good instructions. So if any of you have done this to your truck I could sure use the how to information and where to buy the parts. THANKS
Lars

Lars did you ever lower your truck and if so what route did you take on lowering it?

Yes I did lower my truck, I started with a kit from cpp, the rear springs were 5" shorter and I replaced the shocks and mounts as well as the sway bar and added a c-notch kit too. The front got new springs 3" shorter and new shocks. So I was really disappointed by the result as the truck was not all that much lower. My next solution to get lower was the addition of 2" lowering blocks in the rear and a set of 2.5" dropped spindles in front I also added disk brakes, booster, master cylinder and lines to all four wheels. Well after all this work and expense I'm still not happy with how low the truck is, so now I'm considering adding air bags so I can really go low! Anybody have any recomendations on a company that makes a good DIY air bag kit?
