New to the forum. Have a 1966 Chevy delivery, same as C10 pickup , with stock spindles and aftermarket disc brakes. Problem: my mechanic cannot get enough camber on the driver side only, because the tie rods are bottomed in the tie rod sleeve. I have had two different sets of tie rods and sleeves on it, from different suppliers, and both end up bottoming out. What can I do to give myself more adjustment in the tie rods?

I had the same problem on mine. I simply sliced off an appropriate amount from the threaded end of either the tire rod, or the tie rod end (or perhaps both) It's been many years so I don't remember clearly which part I trimmed. Once clamped in place the parts didn't miss the small amount needed to allow correct alignment.
