Hello all !! I just picked up a 64' Step-side long bed from a relative in Corpus Christi. I had been eyeballing it fro about 3 or 4 years now. I finally broke & made an offer.

I'm very glad to have found a forum of fellow enthusiasts ! She's got some rust , but that will be addressed soon enough.
Don't mind the wheels !! ;D They will be dealt with swiftly & accordingly !

Right on , Thanks for the warm welcome & kind comment guys ! Sorry I haven't replied , I just got back from offshore & the boat we were on did not have internet.

Regarding the wheels , I just picked up the truck. They were kind of a package deal............
I'm not sure what lowering kit was used nor what exact method was used.
I will tell you that it's not the Air Ride Technologies kit that I plan on using !
Plans for the future include : Chevy C10 63-70 -Street Challenge Kit- , Much larger Disc brakes front & back & a modern twin turbo ls series motor . This will all come after a good restoration. I have kept the vehicle in Corpus for the time being . My uncle does media blasting & he told me he would do the frame & cab & put it back together with all the new mounts & primer it before we bring it up here to Houston. I'll post some more pics when I can.
