Dave and any others in the area.
I'm headed out to Phoenix, AZ next weekend to deliver a rearend to a ebay buyer on Sat morn. Then to pick up parts from a seller nearby. Was wondering if any of ya in the area and may want to hook up for a quick meet and greet. My time in Phx will be short but thought it would be KEWL to meet up for a few.

Looks like I'll be meeting with buyer and seller just off the I-10 and Dysart? Home Depot/IHop parking lot. Not sure of the time but it looks to be between 10-noonish. It would be a KEWL photo-op to get some of the members and their trucks together. Rollin into town to TCB, say howdy then back on the road to be home that night. More info as the weekend nears.

well the truck is loaded and we leave in the early morn to drop off parts in Phoenix, AZ and then pickup parts near the above location. Should be in the HD-IHOP parking lot by 11am tomorrow. We plan to grab a bite at the Wafflehouse across the street after the parts business is taken care of. Hope to see a few of ya around while i'm in town tomorrow.

wow! what a trip!!!! left pasadena,ca at 4:30 am and arrived at the meet location to phx, az @ 11:30 sharp. buyer of my parts just pulled in as did the seller of the 66 - c10 parts i purchased: dash cluster with oem tach! complete rearend, compete front end with all stearing components minus the cross member, vent windows, complete drive shafts, window regulators, grill and rad supports w/t headlights, modified grill and a box of other goodies all for 325!!!! Did not need much of the stuff that was thrown in but he gave it all to me due to "spring cleaning". the conversion from 8-lug to 6-lug and highway gears starts soon. stay tuned!
I'm sure some of us will meet up sooner or later!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it out. I've been sick as a dog for almost a week. We'll meet soon enough, tho.

As for lots-o-work ahead - sure is! But its all on hold now due to a move next week. larger place for me, dog and this truck build up. The move is so much worth the delay of work on the truck!!!More as it all happens....
