The next project on my list is changing my one wheel wonder over to a limited slip! I was wondering if anyone would know anything about AMSOIL and your experiences with it? Also, how much would a rear end hold? Any direction on this would greatly be appreciated.

Never used Amsoil so I don't have any personal experience with it, but I know people that uses it and all are very satisfied with it!.. Never can remember what it holds but you just fill it to the threads of the filler plug done deal!...

I put Royal Purple synthetic in mine. A co-worker swears by AMSOIL. Mine, (1965 short bed step side), took more than 1 quart, less than 2. I just don't remember how much of the 2nd quart was used.

I use Royal Purple in my overdrive and it sure shifts nice, not too hard not too soft!. I always buy gear oil by the gallon and just pump it in, so I never know exactly how much they hold!.LOL...

I have bought Royal Purple motor oil for my 65 but haven't put it in yet. The motor is still on the stand. I still have to rebuild my trans. and thought about putting some good stuff in it too. But as far as the rear end goes, it's next on the list for the rebuild and just curious about AMSOIL and just wondering how much to order!

I would buy a gallon it's usually cheaper than by the quart, and it'll get used up sooner or later and you won't have to make another trip to the store to get some the next time, LOL...
