Hello All, I have a '00 5.3L (LM7) I'm getting ready to install in my '64. It came out of a truck and I've heard that the exhaust manifolds don't quite fit. You have to notch the frame and I'd rather not do that. Does anyone know if a pair of exhaust manifolds off of a LS6 Corvette motor will fit? Attachments:

I solved this issue by using a pair of the stamped steel headers/manifolds from a '98-'99 Camaro/Firebird LS-1. With these you can cut the large flanges off and weld on standard 2 1/2" flanges which present no frame clearance problems.

I ended up buying the 'Vette headers. I would imagine they'll work/fit as they are part of the LS family correct?
