Hello!
I'm just the new guy. Here is a pic of my newly aquired c10. It's a '66 with the basic SBC and 3 speed. It sat in a farmer's field for years. I towed it home, cut out the dangerous wiring harness, changed oil added some fresh fuel and it fired up! The cab has lots of rust. Any advice on body repair will be appreciated.
Thanks! from Knoxville, TN

Welcome to the site. As far as body work goes, when I started on my '65 step-side short-bed, I removed the body and sandblasted the frame, painted it with Rust Bullet and black chassis paint. I then had the body media blasted and then installed a lot of patch panels to get rid of all the rust. It has been a little over 7 years, and is almost finished, (at the upholstery shop now). I should have it on the street in a couple of weeks. Be patient and do it right.
