Howdy All,
Now that the plesantries are out of the way, figure I'll just jump right in and give a bit of info.
Got myself a 1966 LWB C10 for a bit of folding cash (considering the thing just started up w/the barest bump of the key)
It appears to be nearly all original (I'd say 90%) right down to the 250 inline six and 3 speed manual (in the floor?) I'll admit I don't know a ton about these trucks, but I do know this little six is perhaps the best running one I've ever seen. It has its hiccups and sputters, but will fire right up like nothing (which obviously amazes me since I've mentioned it twice now)
I've been a member of many forums and I know the old saying:
TTIWWOP
So with out further ado here are the only three I currently have of it.
I know, I know the pics are crappy. Let me get some fresh batteries in my camera and there will be many, I promise. It appears to have the typical rust problems, and is in SORE NEED of some attention in the brake department. Eh, 4 wheel drums, what can I tell you? First thing on the list of modifications... Disc Brakes... at least in the front, as well as a new-er model rear end out back (read 5 lug conversion) Then drive train, cooling, heating, 2 cyl mod, 5spd swap, Yeah... pretty much doing the same dumb thing we guys always do. Try to turn a 2 steps from the scrap heap PILE into something halfway respectable.
It's a disease, or addiction... drives my wife crazy... but keeps me out of trouble so hey, there's an upside.
Anyway, here's my book. Read, discuss, or just back out slowly shaking your head. For better or worse, I'm here for a while.
