well Im gettin some done anyway,,, heres a shot of the frame before touching it  And heres after a couple days of wire brushing, rust mort and paint  I see body work and paint in the near future!!!!! |

What did you use to paint the frame? I was thinking of using POR-15 (http://www.por15.com) as I've heard that is really good stuff. Looks like you did a great job though.

I just used enamel and hardener and shot it with a cheap auto type sprayer, the whole thing, top bottom everywhere then after drying brushed the bottom with a do it your self bed liner so it doesnt chip to much. I did however wirebrush then coat the entire thing with rust mort, then primmer then the enamel

about 3 pints, I put it on just about everything, the rearend and springs and everything. Dont let it get wet though, even alittle water it starts breaking down. let it sit for a day then at least get some primmer on it. You could probly get away with only 2 pints if you dont end up having to fix some areas like I did, who knew it would sprinkle  |
