They probably have swapped the spindle with a spindle made for disc brakes and then used a car rotor and calipur. A disc brake spindle has a place to bolt a calipur up to. A drum brake spindle only has a place to bolt up a tie rod at least on these model trucks. The rotor has to be off a car because if it was off a truck it would be 6 lug. All the A arms are more then likely still stock, I can tell the upper A arm is or at least it looks awfully similar to mine. I think thats what has been done to it. People put 5 lugs on for more wheel choices : )

Well, I thought that they were 6 lugs also, well in that case its just the brake setup off a 67-87. The entire engine cradle will bolt up to these trucks with no modification but I would bet that its just the disc brake setup with the spindle. And yes a car spindle will bolt to a truck.

Will the whole front suspension off of a 72 half ton bolt on to my 62? everywhere Ive read where people did this has always been 70-71. but I have acces to a 72 and before I buy it I want to know for sure if it will work. and will the schock mounts align with the shock mounts on my 62
