Admittedly, our activity fluctuates. However, like Scooter said, we're a relatively small forum. We don't have several thousand members to keep things hopping. I'd love to see us get there, but that takes time and members that are patient enough to help us get there.
We've had some great discussions. We've had successful transactions in our buy/sell section. There is a vast amount of valuable information throughout the site. I don't see anything that would classify us as a HAMB.
When you consider the narrow focus of the site and the fact that this focus is NOT something so popular as say... a '57 Chevy Bel Air, I'd say we're doing just fine. I would, however, welcome any suggestions to assist us in making the forum more attractive.

as for the shipping from donny i live in mo. and him in cal. it is not that costly to ship from there but i guess i dont mind spending on something i need

If you are refering to the small spat that I admit to causing with donny, I already apologized for that, and it happened over 6 months ago and has not been mentioned since. I shot my mouth off and made myself look bad and I know that so, please, lets drop it. I like being a contributor to this site, I wish I had more to do with it, and I would like people to take me seriously. Also not to rub it in your face but, donny has been back on since then.
I dont think we have to worry about this site gaining the bad characteristics of the HAMB. The HAMB is a good site but, half the time you have to know the answer to a question before you ask it or you will get your balls cut off by certain people and made a fool of. We dont seem to have those people on here. You can ask any question and get an answer, although it may take a while ; ), no matter how simple it maybe. I dont know what to say about attracting more people here. I put posts on the HAMB trying to get people here and I think it may have worked, I dont really know. But like Dave said, our focus is on 60-66 Chevy trucks, which limits us to how many people we can get to join.
Also off topic somewhat, can we please start a new thread on this topic or move it to the stronger forum thread. I think its pretty silly to be talking about this subject in the parts thread section.

I purchased a choke cable from Donny through eBay and am very pleased. The truck had the crappy store bought on it when I bought it. It now looks so much better with all knobs matching. Thanks Donny!

Hey whats up? I have a 65 GMC 3/4 ton right now. I just got through scrapping about 8 trucks in november. Threw alot out.Had alot of parts but no business so they all went to the scrapyard for steel prices. OUCH.
