 wiper wiring
« Thread Started on Dec 6, 2009, 6:25am »

I guess this is kind of silly (simple), but after having this posted to the "Interior" section of the forum and over twenty views of my problem, I'm hoping that there is someone out there that can give me a little help.

So here is the problem again:
I recently rewired my '66 1/2 ton and didn't keep track of how the wipers were wired. I used an Easy Wire kit which worked great, but the wiper wiring only provides for the power to the switch. Can someone show me a diagram or some pictures of the wiring at the wiper motor and switch. I am using an after-market 2 speed switch.

Thanks

Thanks. This diagram shows for a single speed hookup I believe and what I have is a two speed. I salvaged the wiper harness from the original wiring and think I understand where one connector fits to the wiper motor. I'm not sure where the extra (jumper?) wire connects. there are three or four possibilities on the wiper motor if I am looking at it right and I don't want to fry something because I picked wrong. I will try to add some pictures of my question tomorrow and see if I can illustrate what my choises are.
Again, thanks. Really appreciate the responce.

It is the two connectors in the larger circle that I'm not sure where they go. I think they go to the location of the small circle, but which one and where? I believe the double connector goes to the point shown by the big arrow. It seems simple I guess, but has me stumped.

Thanks. This one looks like it might have possibilities. I'll let you know.
